Credit & Collections Analyst
Direct-Hire/Permanent position

Fully on-site role, 5 days per week in the office
Robert Half has partnered with a well-established and growing business in their search of a Credit & Collections Analyst. As the Credit & Collections Analyst you will report to the Credit Manager and assist with all functions within the credit and collections department including processing credit applications, processing tax-exempt certificates, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations including analyzing tax data and reports to identify potential tax liabilities and opportunities for tax savings and advise management on tax-related issues and strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process credit applications and collect additional information as needed
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and cash receipt reports
• Effectively communicate with account holders, maintaining a log of payment promises and other relevant details
• Follow established guidelines to monitor and update account statuses
• Analyze tax data and reports to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
• Independently validate credit references provided by applicants or use credit reporting services
• Consult with appropriate personnel when client credit requests exceed established guidelines
• Request payment from delinquent accounts and pursue necessary communication with the account holder.
Our client offers a full health insurance package, 401k match, and paid time off package for this position, along with a target salary range of $50-65k.

Requirements
Desired Experience:
• 2+ years of credit and collections experience
• Sales tax experience
• ERP or accounting software experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit and credit application procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
