The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Business area provides actionable intelligence for our warfighters and decision makers through innovative technical solutions from the seas to the stars. The Space Systems Product Line is a premier provider of advanced high-reliability space electronics and mission systems. As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer in the Space System Product line, your responsibilities will include working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create engineering solutions for a space payload. You will have the opportunity to support the entire systems engineering lifecycle and support key customer milestones, working with other talented engineers to solve challenging problems to grow within this product area. Motivated and positive minded engineers must hold a United States security clearance and skilled in areas needed for cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
This position is based out of our Hudson NH and Merrimack NH facilities and may require collaboration with staff across our business areas and facilities in the Northeast.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must currently possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS).
Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of 8 years with BS, 6 years with MS, 4 years with PHD.
Experience performing system engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
RF Domain experience.
Test equipment and Hardware integration experience
Experience being part of a multidisciplinary project team
Excellent communication skills, forward thinker who enjoys solving complex problems
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 11 years of experience.
Active US Government Top-Secret clearance.
Experience with system analysis techniques such as link budget, latency, calibration, timing, and synchronization.
Familiarity or experience with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
Familiarity with Link16 and/or wireless communications experience.
Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as Magic Draw.
Experience with technical performance measures and cost account management.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
