Job Title: Welder & Fabricator

Job Description

Join our team as a Structural Welder and work on large mining machines. In this role, you will operate within a large bay, swamp-cooled environment to repair substantial mining excavators. Your daily tasks will involve repairing structural flaws due to normal equipment wear and tear, working with both AR400 and AR500 steel, as well as softer steel varieties. Responsibilities also include gouging out welds and utilizing your fabricating skills to read prints and shop drawings. Effective communication with peers and supervisors is essential.

Hard Skills

  • Structural Welding on thick gauged hardened steel

  • Oxy Acetylene Torch usage for cutting steel

  • Fabricating - cutting, bending, fitting, and grinding material

  • Blueprint and schematic drawing reading

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mesa, Arizona.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large bay that is swamp cooled with large industrial fans. The bay features a large roll-up door but is otherwise sealed from outside elements.
