ELEMENTS INTERNATIONAL GROUP LLC Inventory Control Specialist in Mesquite, Texas

The Inventory Control Specialist will support the Inventory Control Team and be responsible for efficiently and effectively operating all inventory control functions. They will actively monitor, reconcile, and ensure the accuracy of the inventory level and all inventory transactions.

Essential Functions:

Process of Change PO release per Warehouse teams requests.

Process transfer from MQ to MQE WH per Transfer MQ to MQE dashboard, and any additional requests from the Ecom team.

Process transfer requests between MQ and MQE WH per Orders teams requests.

Process transfer requests between MQ and MQE WH per Replenishment teams requests.

Process transfer requests among various warehouses within TX site per Warehouse teams requests.

Process part out requests and ensure there is sufficient inventory to support the requests prior to approving.

Daily monitor the MQ Damages and Returns email to ensure transactions matched with Epicor.

Monitor CG US cancellation emails, request RMAs as needed, and follow through to ensure correct transactions.

Daily monitor the negative qty and reconcile the inventory to find the causes and correct as needed.

Daily monitor CG CA adjustment emails, compare them against data downloaded from the Wayfair portal, and determine whether adjustments need to be made on our end. Submit tickets to Wayfair if there are discrepancies between the email and the data file, or if there are questionable adjustments, especially the arriving in damaged Condition category. Follow up and ensure tickets are resolved. Use a shared Google sheet to share the adjustment status among the team members.

Reconcile the inventory files of CG CA, complete at least non-matching SKUs once a month. Collaborate with Ecom Specialist and BKK team regarding incorrect OB orders due to EDI issue, reroute, cancellation, incorrect SKUs, incorrect qty or incorrect site. Submit tickets to Wayfair as needed. Use shared google sheet to share the reconciliation status among the team members.

Monitor the first-time items to CG to ensure an immediate receipt to avoid zero cost sales orders. Collaborate with the IT team to do cost adjustments if somehow sales occur before the receipt completion.

Familiar with how and able to perform the tasks of other team members when they are on PTO.

Must operate in an efficient and productive manner

Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage

Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory

Participate in the year-end inventory count.

Perform required administrative tasks; prepare all required reports and correspondence.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in Inventory

Data literacy - strong numerical reasoning and energized by looking at and analyzing data all day long

MS Office competency, particularly Excel and Outlook

Good interpersonal skills, especially to be able to communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues

Good time management and organizational skills to meet timescales and deadlines

Strong attention to detail

Problem-solving abilities

Self-motivated

Flexible and adaptable

Showing some knowledge of ERP systems

Preferred Education and Experience

2+ years of previous experience in Inventory

Experience with Epicor ERP system highly desired

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as significant time spent on the manufacturing floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines with some exposure to a warehouse environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position expected to work 40 hours per week with some overtime required from time to time
