About the job:

An exciting opportunity for a Guest Service Executive Team Leader role has arisen to join the front office team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.

Your main duties will include:

Guest Services:

  • Ensure a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly.

  • Provide information about the hotel, its facilities, and local attractions.

Team Supervision:

  • Lead, train, and supervise front office staff.

  • Schedule shifts and manage staff rosters.

  • Conduct regular briefings and meetings to communicate updates and procedures.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk to ensure smooth functioning.

  • Monitor and maintain front office supplies and equipment.

  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

  • Manage the front office budget and control expenses.

Coordination:

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service.

  • Assist in managing room inventory and availability.

  • Handle special requests and VIP arrangements.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.

  • Prepare reports and analyze front office performance metrics.

  • Handle billing and cash transactions accurately.

Qualifications:

About you:

  • Should have 2-year minimum experience in the same role in a five-star hotel.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Work in a multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written business English.

  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues and Management.
