Job Description

The Finance Manager, US Therapeutics Financial Compliance assists in leading the US Therapeutics Financial Compliance program for Federal ‘Sunshine Reporting." This role is responsible for the collection and reporting of US Therapeutics Healthcare Providers (HCP) and/or Healthcare Organizations (HCO) financial data for all Therapeutics’ events including Employee Business Expenses, Speaker Programs, Speaker Training, Sponsorships, Exhibits, Memberships, Consulting and Grants. The position leads a team of three plus a contractor.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for completing the US Therapeutics Federal ‘Sunshine’ and process collecting and reporting the data timely and accurately and presenting the annual Sub Certification Deck to Senior Leadership Finance and OEC.

  • Assist in developing, establishing, and leading an effective Financial Compliance process for collecting HCP and/or HCO financial data for programs led by the US Therapeutics organization including Employee Business Expenses, Speaker Programs, Sponsorships, Exhibits, Memberships, Consulting, and Grants.

  • Publish the Monthly Financial Compliance Federal ‘Sunshine’ Reporting Actuals Dashboard using Power BI and review with the Financial Compliance Team ‘FCT’ to ensure complete and accurate data. Work with the team to address data gaps and/or issues.

  • Lead quarterly US FCT data source reconciliation and sign-off reviews ensuring US source data is complete and accurate with manager sign-off within 60 days of quarter end.

  • Conduct self-audit activities on the Federal ‘Sunshine’ and State event data collected throughout the year and take any necessary corrective actions.

  • Assist with Internal and External Audits for Compliance and Federal ‘Sunshine’ Transparency Reporting.

  • Lead role in managing the transparency reporting tool (PowerBI) providing FCT individual and group training while overseeing data governance discussions.

  • Conduct annual reviews of StateSpend database dimension tables to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with OEC, US Commercial Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Business Systems, BSG/CCG, and US Therapeutics teams including Business Systems TA&O to drive compliant employee behavior, integrate acquisitions such as Immunogen, and drive process improvements.

  • Assist with Internal and External Audits for Compliance and Federal ‘Sunshine’ Transparency Reporting.

  • Meet deadlines and balance workload requirements of the team to ensure all areas of responsibility are timely and accurate in reporting of data ensuring adherence to compliance policies, financial policies, and state/federal laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.

  • Experience in audit, finance, and/or accounting. Minimum of 8 years’ experience.

  • Analytical skill set including advanced excel and ability to quickly learn new systems. Power BI knowledge a plus.

  • Strong leadership and a team orientated nature.
