Amazon Inventory Control and Network Losses Program Manager, Global Security Operations (GSO) in Mexico City, Mexico

Description

The Global Security Operations team provides critical support and timely notification to global partners regarding incidents that have impacted, or have the potential to impact, Life Safety, Operations, and/or the Amazon Brand.

As Inventory Control and Network Losses Program Manager you will possess the knowledge, skills, abilities, and professional experience to protect life-safety, ensure operational continuity, and preserve the Amazon brand globally. By using technology, thoroughly-vetted procedures, and best practices which exceed industry standards, the GSOC is committed to excellence. The Inventory Control and Network Losses Program Manager support the Amazon Loss Prevention team, including data interpretation, trending analysis, shrink and Network Losses investigations among other department initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage world-class investigation strategy across - Amazon Mexico Supply Chain.

  • Design investigation standards aligned with global standards.

  • Train loss prevention field members and serve as liaison to standardize shrink reduction mechanisms.

  • Support Loss Prevention team, including data interpretation, trending analysis, and overall department initiatives.

  • Initiate, develop and resolve product loss associated with all Amazon sites in the format assigned to.

  • Develop casework through analytics, surveillance, testing, and proven investigative tactics.

  • Manage multiple investigations simultaneously while prioritizing and partnering with location resources to effectively identify and close incidents of theft.

  • Enhance, track, and report on investigative metrics which are key performance indicators allowing performance improvements to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate.

  • Identify, promote and implement security best practices in a designated delivery center.

  • Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives.

  • Coordinate data collection through database polling or data entry from multiple DC; and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations.

  • Provide cross functional assistance to different stakeholders trough AmazonĀ“s Supply Chain.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • English b2Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
