As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on System Integrators within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS and Amazon CloudFront) across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with strategic partners and assist technically in projects.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization. The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

As a strategic member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed System Integrators. This includes:

• As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will work with partners to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes;

• You will own the technical relationship with partner and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of each partner will shape the guidance you provide;

• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements;

• Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform;

• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community and other AWS communities;

• Share customer and partner feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS;

• Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. workshops, bootcamps, user groups, meet-ups, public speaking, blogs, whitepapers, online videos or conferences);

• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Mexico City, DIF, MEX

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience

• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

• Experience working with end user or developer communities
