Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (PLC)

Job Description

This position requires added abilities with PLC troubleshooting. The role is within a large industrial bakery specializing in breads. Currently, there is a need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot PLC systems

• Measure current on wires using voltmeters

• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot systems

• Change and rebuild machinery, sensors, relays, chains, and conveyor motors

Essential Skills

• Maintenance technician experience

• Ability to read and interpret schematics

• Electrical troubleshooting

• PLC troubleshooting

• Automation experience

• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills

• Preventive maintenance

• Proficiency in English (able to speak/explain with team members and read manuals)

• Experience with 3-phase motors

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine rebuilds

Work Environment

All Industrial Maintenance Mechanics must be flexible with their schedule as they will rotate shifts every 8 weeks. For example, for the first 8 weeks, you will work Monday to Friday, then rotate to Tuesday to Saturday. The hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. The facility is equipped with miles of conveyor systems, hundreds of electrical motors, PLC systems, and a maintenance team consisting of 18 members (6 per shift). The production floor runs 24/7, and the maintenance department offers support around the clock to minimize downtime due to the perishable nature of the product.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Miami, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00
