The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", Information Technology Department has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Owner – ServiceNow. The Digital Product Owner – ServiceNow position will partner with critical internal members of IT and external members of the business community to maintain and develop ServiceNow. Day to day this position will focus on leading the resolution of ServiceNow operational issues, assisting the ServiceNow Product Owner in developing the backlog and strategic roadmap, and directing support staff responsible for ensuring the work is completed.

  • Partner with stakeholders (internal IT and external business leaders) to maintain and advance ServiceNow.

  • Champion of the product internally and externally, pushing for rapid adoption and resolution of production issues.

  • Actively engages in education & research to stay current with ServiceNow and associated standards like ITIL, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Compliance.

  • Directs ServiceNow support staff daily to set priority between operational needs and product advancement activities to ensure goals are accomplished.

  • Assist the Product Owner in Defining and Prioritizing the product backlog translating high-level requirements into user stories and performs acceptance testing on a rolling basis throughout each product increment.

  • Monitor ServiceNow production issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Work with IT leadership to establish reports and KPIs (key performance indicators) that can be used to track overall IT operations status.

  • Project Management activities including participating and leading scrum meetings, leading minor change efforts, and/or assisting project managers assigned from the PMO.

  • Fill the role of ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert and Quality Assurance Analyst as needed.

  • Follows all security standards when working with sensitive data.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; major in relevant information technology or business field preferred

  • ServiceNow certification preferred (Application Specialist, Architect, Developer, or Systems Administrator)

  • Minimum Five (5) years’ experience with ServiceNow required.

  • Five (5) years’ healthcare or higher education experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodology concepts like sprint, scrum, backlog, stories, etc.

  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders to customize, configure, and enhance ServiceNow.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Organized and detailed oriented

  • Background supporting various aspects of ServiceNow and IT Operations

  • Demonstrated ability to safely work with sensitive data.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Project management skills including Agile

  • Highly self-motivated

  • Extraordinary prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills

  • Works efficiently in dynamic environment with changing priorities
