Robert Half Payment Operations Specialist in Miami, Florida
Description
This role is focused on essential operations in the Payment Services Department, commonly found in financial services firms. The primary responsibilities include managing fund transfers (incoming and outgoing), ACH transactions, OFAC-DISPOS verification, and Check 21 processes (incoming clearing and outgoing cash letter). The position also involves helping with reconciliation and investigations when issues arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily wire transfers (outgoing, incoming, and internal) through FEDWIRE and SWIFT ALLIANCE.
Verify customer instructions by performing security checks such as call-backs and signature verifications.
Ensure compliance with the Travel Rule and other regulations when processing wire transfers.
Make sure the OFAC program engine is functioning, identifying if any transactions require additional OFAC approval.
Assist in gathering information related to wire transfer investigations or resolving pending issues.
Help reconcile discrepancies in the Payment Services area.
Follow all bank policies and ensure procedures are adhered to when processing payments using the T-24 system and other tools.
Support Check 21 and ACH processes as needed.
Process wire transfers received through BS Online.
Assist in managing documentation and coordinating payment orders between departments (e.g., SFC and MLOC II).
Contribute to the achievement of department and bank goals.
Identify pending transactions in reconciliation reports and gather necessary information for resolution.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
MUST have previous BACK-OFFICE banking experience
Fully Bilingual - English/Spanish
3+ years of experience with Wire Transfers
