TEKsystems Residential Install Technician in Miami, Florida
Description:
TEKsystems is hiring for an entry level residential install technician. This is the perfect and exciting opportunity to get a foot in the door of the Telecommunications world! Technician needs to have previous experience doing home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in commercial settings.. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.
This candidate must be comfortable driving there own vehicle as they will not be provided a service vehicle. This technician can expect at least 40 hours per week working Tuesday-Saturday.
This person needs to have a mechanical aptitude and an adaptive personality. Technician must maintain 98% and better with inventory. Inventory is collecting once a week from the ADT office and the technician is responsible for the inventory for the entire week.
Training: This technician will train for 2-3 weeks on "ride along" with Current full time ADT technicians. Technicians are paid no more than $16/hr while training.
Nice to have: FASA BASA Certification and NICET certifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and someone that has the ability to work hard, efficiently, but still lead with quality. Also looking for people who can work by themselves with limited direction.
