Humana Stars Clinical Pharmacist Lead in Miami, Florida

The Clinical Pharmacist Lead monitors drug development pipelines and medical literature while providing clinical support for internal stakeholders. This role utilizes broad understanding of managed care and PBM knowledge to develop, and/or implement strategies and programs to mitigate cost trend and improve health outcomes. The Clinical Pharmacist Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Location: This is a hybrid role that will require working from a Humana office 50% of the time. You must live within regular commuting distance of an office in Tampa, Orlando, or Miami, Florida.
This dedicated Part D Stars Pharmacist will be facilitating effective communication and collaboration with our business partners and providers as needed. This role would ensure that we can implement targeted interventions to address medication adherence and other Stars measures opportunities, ultimately leading to improve these measures. The Pharmacy Lead will strategically focus our provider intervention that require the most attention, leading to better members outcomes and enhanced collaboration with our business partners.
Key responsibilities would include:
Analyzing market-specific and plan-wide trends while collaborating directly with business partners
Tracking the impact of corporate initiatives at the market level to assess outcomes and provide valuable feedback to the Corporate STARS Pharmacy team.
Developing and implementing market-specific Part D strategies in response to anticipated PPO growth among non-risk providers.
Partnering with the HEDIS and Network professionals to create targeted strategies for providers, with a quarterly focus on improving medication adherence.
Facilitating provider education, offering metrics, addressing inquiries, and concentrating on the overall performance, trends, and opportunities within the Part D Stars market performance

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
A broad understanding of managed care and PBM knowledge
2+ years experience with STARS (medication adherence or other HEDIS measures)
Must have an active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in Florida
Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects
Able to thrive in a fast paced, multi-project work environment while still ensuring attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Expertise in working collaboratively and communicating with staff in different positions and all levels of management positions
Willingness to work in-office 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Pharm D
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience with Microsoft Access & Microsoft Project
Experience with pharmacy benefits and health benefits

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$123,800 - $170,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
