Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. Commercial Videographer / Photography Intern - Spring Semester 2025 in Miamisburg, Ohio
We are seeking a Commercial Videography/Photography Intern with demonstrable experience in photography, videography, shot selection, visual storytelling, and image editing. This individual will be a self-starter who works both independently and with a small team to present our people and products in visually compelling, understandable, and informative ways.
Candidates selected for an interview will be expected to present a portfolio of relevant work.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and capture effective, compelling photos and videos suitable for both corporate and research & development contexts.
Work across our entire network of companies, including Rushlight Ventures, Rushlight Assets, Cornerstone Research Group (CRG), Lectratek, and others.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide photo and video project coordination.
Create compelling photos and videos.
Communicate tactfully, clearly, and concisely.
Ensure alignment of messaging and visuals with the brand.
Adhere to the external release process.
Generate content to promote employee engagement, events, business achievements, individual products, and research programs.
Engage engineers, researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs within our network to identify interesting stories.
Assist with maintaining a file structure of public-released images and B-roll video.
Curate social media content for events, stand-alone campaigns, and other projects.

Rushlight Ventures is a young and rapidly growing venture studio. We are not an investment fund – we work with small businesses to commercialize the intellectual property they have developed while conducting research for the federal government. Our focus is to find commercial opportunities for their technology via creating startups or facilitating license deals or M&A transactions. Requirements
Exclusive U.S. citizenship (cannot hold dual or foreign citizenship).
Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited two- or four-year college degree program focused on photography, videography, commercial art, marketing communications, or a related field.
Availability to work 15–30 hours per week in person during standard business hours.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to confidently interact with individuals at all career levels.
Proficiency in photography and videography, including lighting, audio/video editing, and graphic design.
Proficiency with interchangeable-lens cameras, such as DSLRs and/or mirrorless system cameras.
Ability to operate and transport/carry all necessary equipment, including a laptop, camera, lighting, screens, microphones, etc.
Competency using related software, such as Mac OS, Adobe products, Canva Pro, and Microsoft Office.
Optional evening availability to attend, cover, and promote networking events, interfacing with entrepreneur ecosystem leadership.
