Fastemps Quality Supervisor in Michigan
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, monitor and control quality procedures and process designed to assure that manufactured products conform to stipulated specifications and customer expectations.
Reports to Quality Manager.
Skills
Education -- 4-year college degree or equivalent related experience in the listed position responsibilities.
Experience -- Minimum 5 years in injection molding field as quality auditor or technician
Note: Adequate experience in the above can reduce the minimum education required.
Duties
Primary
Assume responsibility for Quality Department activities in the absence of the Quality Manager at all locations
Supervisor quality personnel at assigned facility location
Assist other plant locations as assigned by Quality Manager
Assist in preparing quality documents such as APQP/PPAP/Auditor/Operator work instructions
Resolve customer complaints/issues
Part layouts
Design gauges and check fixtures
Ensure compliance to current quality management system and customer standards
Responsible to assure receiving inspection is completed in a timely manner
Ensure adherence to ISO (Quality and Environmental) procedures, policies and work instructions.
Secondary
8D resolutions
Using statistical and other quality tools to monitor and improve production processes
Participate in scrap reduction activities
Trouble shooting production processes and product issues
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
$40,000 to 50,000/year depending on experience level.
