Job Summary:
Excellent opportunity for a Rehab PM&R physician to join the inpatient rehab units for Johnston-Willis Hospital. Johnston-Willis’ therapist-to-patient ratio is lower than the national average, providing patients with individualized care and encouragement. They offer highly qualified specialists ranging from doctors, nurses, social workers/case managers to coordinate and assure patients receive the necessary treatments and therapies.
Qualified Candidates:
Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty
Board eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boards
Must be energetic and motivated
Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
About the Rehab Unit:
The unit treats patients (age 18 or older) with a range of conditions, including:
Stroke
Post-operative cardiac conditions
Cancer
Orthopedic injuries
Amputations
Brain injury
Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s
Incentive/Benefits Package:
Compensation package range $310K - $360K
After-hours call covered by hospital-based internists

26-beds ICU with a mix of neuro ICU and 14 medical ICU beds
