Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Medical Affairs Associate Director in Milan, Italy

We are looking for an Associate Director of Medical Affairs to lead our medical strategy and drive our success in Italy. As a Medical Advisor you will be the medical counterpart for our market access and marketing teams. We see this position as critical to furthering Regeneron’s global presence in Italy and the success of our mission to transform the lives of patients worldwide. You will have notable experience in oncology within medical affairs, and a thorough understanding of drug development and commercialization.

As a Medical Affairs Associate Director, a typical day might include the following:

  • Collaborate closely with the brand team, ensuring the medical strategy aligns with marketing initiatives.

  • Act as the medical liaison for market access and marketing teams, connecting scientific knowledge with business goals.

  • Partner with field medical advisors to drive successful launches and post-marketing activities for both pipeline and marketed Oncology products.

  • Play a key role in ensuring the meticulous scientific integrity of our activities, proactively identifying and prioritizing critical medical needs.

  • Navigate a dynamic, evolving environment with a 'can-do' demeanor, confidently handle contending priorities and forging tight-knit collaborations across departments.

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and regulatory authorities.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess a strong scientific background, ideally with an MD, PharmD, or PhD. A deep understanding of Oncology and relevant Medical Affairs experience is crucial. Furthermore, you will need an extensive knowledge of the Italian Medical Affairs and Clinical Development landscape. We need someone with a solid background and experience in drug development and life-cycle development of related products. We are seeking a leader with a detailed understanding of the local healthcare environment, knowledge of applicable treatment, compliance and regulatory guidelines, and the ability to find opportunities in Italy to optimize strategic and tactical planning. You should demonstrate excellent medical communication skills., fluency in English, and a willingness to travel extensively.
