Job Description Summary
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include :
Total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment.
Interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to customers. Maintain communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated.
Can identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team in his/her geographic area
Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service to the assigned area
Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time.
Ensures timely completion of assigned FMIs and PMs
Assist less experienced Junior Field Services Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes
Cooperate with the internal stakeholders and interlocutors
Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement
Quality Specific Goals :
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report immediately customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.
Required Qualifications :
Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT Engineering or similar field, or High specialization technical Diploma and a relevant experience on the field and with the customers
Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities, extensive knowledge and experience of CT in particular
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly
Expert in interacting with the Customer, drive positive relationships, ensure satisfaction
Based in Liguria or able to relocate
Fluent in Italian and English
