Boehringer Ingelheim Internship Pricing & HEOR in Milan, Italy

THE INTERNSHIP

Assisting the Pricing & HEOR Team in the definition of the Boehringer Ingelheim products and pipeline value proposition to guarantee the optimal positioning in terms of price and reimbursement, in line with the objectives of Human Pharma Division.

We offer a 6 months Internship with the possibility of extension

Assisting the activities:

  • Development of the optimal pricing & access strategy for BI products and pipeline.

  • Realization of Health Economic/HTA/Outcomes and RWE research studies to support the clinical and economic value of medicines.

  • Prepare communication tools and training for in-field activities.

Tasks & responsibilities

Assisting the Pricing & HEOR Team in the following activities:

  • Preparation of the National Price & Reimbursement Dossier, in order to define the product value from a Pharmacoeconomic perspective and to ensure early market access within the target price at the best reimbursement conditions.

  • Development of Pharmacoeconomic/HTA/Outcomes research analysis to support Regional access of BI products as well as Marketing and in-field activities.

  • Manage the creation and adaptation of Corporate Health Economics models and the development of local Health Economics models.

  • Develop and execute high quality HEOR strategic solutions to support optimal pricing and reimbursement, with a focus on delivering robust evidence demonstrating the value of BI products.

  • Lead the development of the critical evidence generation strategy to support the articulation of clinical and economic value.

  • Deliver strategic thinking from an HEOR perspective in support of BI innovative portfolio.

  • Ensure optimal Real World Evidence generation as an integrated part of the market access strategy.

  • Organizing initiatives and projects, that contribute to maximize product value, to obtain early market access for new products and to maintain those in the market, in compliance with local regulations.

  • Participating to Cross-functional Teams to provide MA insights, gather business inputs and needs and translate them into MA activities able to successfully address those needs.

  • Working together with Field Functions to spot regional stakeholders, define action plans for an optimal MA and positioning and delivering payers value story.

  • Mapping payers and stakeholders, relevant for MA purposes, as well as access models, to strengthen the national MA strategies for new products and for the re-negotiation of the existing portfolio.

  • Contribute to the preparation of strategic brand plans and long-term forecasts.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Scientific, Economics or Management.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (in particular Excel).

  • Strong analytic, digital and communication skills.

  • PhD, MBA or post degree in Market Access/HTA/Health Economics is preferred.

  • Languages: Italian native level + good command of written and spoken English.
