CBRE GWS is looking for a Regional Finance Lead that will be based in Italy, below the responsibilities of the role

Leadership

Provide support to peer Regional Finance Manager and Regional Ops director

Financial Management

Reporting

Responsibility for ensuring an accurate and smooth Month-End Close cycle

Assemble the Monthly Business Review pack for the global account results

Finalize review of all in scope European countries’ monthly P&L results

Deliver client reporting per site on a monthly basis

Review Overdue Accounts Receivable, and Trade Working Capital reports and take corrective action where required

Investigate and explain deviations from Budgets and Forecasts

Ad-hoc reporting as requested by Business/Finance

Positively respond to both our internal and external customers (often in a matrix environment) through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility.

Insightful analysis of financial results

Operational

Trusted business partner of Regional Leaders / Facility Managers

Run open purchase order report weekly and review all open orders keeping aged POs to a minimum; run and review Debt report weekly ensuring issues are dealt with promptly ensuring CBRE receive payment in line with our contractual payment terms.

Support the local Contract Support Teams in the production of billing application, calculating margins, raising invoices, and submitting to client and to control the invoice pool.

Demonstrate knowledge of procedures and processes and deliver these to the required standard

Control

Ensure that best practice is followed in the countries under span of control

Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the Account and Contract Support Team

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, whilst identifying opportunities to enhance system efficiencies

Ensure Balance Sheet account are appropriate substantiated and reconciled

Comprehensive costs tracking.

Budgets and Forecasting

Support the financial planning and forecasting cycle

Actively participate as part of the Finance and Contract Support Team; provide knowledge and understanding to coach and support others

Analysis of deviations from Budgets / Forecasts
