Shire Senior Product Manager in Milano, Italy
Main purpose of this role:
The Genetic Diseases team is part of an exciting new chapter for Shire’s growth. Genetic Diseases plays an important role as a growth pillar. The vision is to establish a premier Genetic Diseases organization that has a laser focus on patients. We will develop and commercialize Genetic Diseases products to improve patient and healthcare system outcomes. The ideal team member will be able to work within an evolving, dynamic and cross-functional team environment.
The Senior Product Manager will develop local strategy addressing global SIs (strategic imperatives) and implementing tactical objectives, will lead the Genetic Diseases’ projects and launches, acting as a key member of the team.
Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap to advance the growth and positioning
Track progress against strategic imperatives and tactical milestones throughout the product development, integration, and support phases
Gather and communicate competitive intelligence as well as maintenance of internal and external product documentation
Shire processes & procedures super-user, ensuring compliance and complies with local rules and regulations
Involving with project management/event coordination. Project planning, lead and executions (local standalones, local congresses, team-building meetings…)
Copies and distributes standardized reports.
Files forms and documents in accordance with filing system
Resolves routine problems
Support on the development of promotional and non-promotional materials and initiatives to support the Genetic Diseases field team
Promotes the Shire Culture through positive ongoing customer and employee relations. Ensures cross functional team working with key stakeholders as medical affairs, patient access, regulatory, Finance, HR, regional marketing, sales and training; creating an excellent atmosphere/context
Conduct Internet research and some web site management
Track monthly department budget.
Coordinate staffing activities to include interviewing, on boarding and transfers
2-3+ years Genetic Diseases Marketing experience is a big plus
Awareness of the sensitive and confidential nature of information and situations
Ability to multi-task and detail orientation
Good planning and organizational skills
High level of flexibility
Highly self-motivated result-driven with demonstrated ability to deliver beyond objectives
Genetic Diseases market knowledge & stakeholder contacts in Italy is a plus
Very good verbal / written communication skills in local language & English
Previous product launch experience is a plus
Previous Genetic Diseases sales experience is a plus
Market access knowledge is a plus
