Day to Day:
One of our higher education clients in the Salt Lake City area is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to work on a new grant program. This Project Manager will be working through discovery, gathering requirements from business stakeholders/academic leaders to develop a realistic project plan.
The schedule will be produced by analyzing the grant, stakeholder needs, and organizational regulatory requirements. There will also be a data management component to the project where this individual will work with the data management team to ensure a demo site is built. They will also work closely with departmental leadership to keep all pertinent parties informed of the project status, including, but not limited to, milestone achievements, risks, and any issues that may adversely affect project schedules. Outside of the primary project this individual may need to support additional programs.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
6-8+ Years of experience in Project Management
Hands on experience with projects that deal with multiple layers of compliance or regulatory requirements
Experience in managing complex, large-scale projects with cross-functional teams across an Enterprise
Experience with data management teams and/or familiarity with data mapping, data integration via API, data cleansing and data reconstruction practices
Experience working/presenting with high-level stakeholders including C-Suite, VPs, and SVPs
Experience managing all phases of assigned projects (i.e., initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
Familiarity with data mapping, data integration via API, data cleansing and data reconstruction practices to support a Technical Analyst and Software Engineers who owns these responsibilities
Experience with reporting risks, issues and changes affecting project schedules, scope and budget, and milestone achievements
Experience using management tools and platforms, including Smartsheet, MS Excel, Lucidchart, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
High energy individual with experience in environments that have ambiguity/change
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
PMP certification required Plusses:
Working in the educational domain, educational program design, or experience working with any Department of education regulatory groups/projects
Experience working with grant-based projects would be helpful null
