Position Title: Enterprise Business Development Intern

The position of the Business Development Intern is a key component to the organization's success. The Employee must be able to stay organized and work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. Flexibility is key as this position will work with clients and members from other departments. Optimizing communication and facilitating teamwork to ensure we are servicing each other and our customers at the highest level. Keeping innovation and integrity at the core of all decision making, this position will serve as a integral part of our Business Development team and support all aspects of the company's objectives. This position reports to the Business Development Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building strong relationships within an assigned client base to increase revenue growth and client satisfaction; know the client better than they know themselves.

  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and facilitate projects from start to finish in partnership with respective Executive Account Directors.

  • Partner with Business Development Team on quoting (ie: serial number look, pricing, etc)

  • Responsible for inbound quote request from customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization within Enterprise businesses.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player with the hunger and knowledge to develop a new area of business.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and critical thinking skills.

  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and use various software and database applications, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once with exceptional organization, detail, and time-management skills.

  • Identify client's needs and sales opportunities with new and existing business through cold calling, lead-generation, marketing campaigns, up-selling, and cross-selling, to drive future growth through collaboration with the Business Development teams.

  • Ensure the timely and successful setup of new customers with a focus on delivery of our services in partnership with the Executive Account Directors.

  • Resolve client issues and difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.

  • Work closely with the Business Development team and customers on the procurement process to ensure a smooth deal closure.

  • Ensure that all client related communications are accurately and efficiently entered in Salesforce.

  • Keeping up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market.

  • Help to create updates and reports for presentations to clients and management.

  • Other duties as assigned.
