JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join an expanding busy Cardiovascular program with a variety of Cath procedures: Robust training for new employees with preceptors, providers and hands on training with vendors. FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1 (varying start times (7, 8, 9am, possibly later) depending on scheduled procedures and call shifts. Rotating weekend call along with rotating holiday call is also required) Job Summary: Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or two years of field experience as an allied Health professional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program is preferredLICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within nine months of hire.
