MCW: SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER Clinical Program Coordinator III in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As a Clinical Program Coordinator III in Orthopaedic Surgery you will work independently under the administrative direction of the Program Director or Principle Investigator to coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the program. Primary Functions Primary Liaison between Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and operating room personnel at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, and Froedtert West Bend Hospital as well as the system-wide ambulatory surgery centers to maximize OR utilization and patient needs. Serve as a resource/contact for triage of surgical cases to determine best location for case. Manage surgeon away time to ensure operating rooms are optimally utilized Facilitate and coordinate the multi-disciplinary surgical procedures and improve intradepartmental coordination for special equipment needs. Collect, analyze, and disseminate surgical data including block time utilization and accuracy of estimated surgical time Develop and improve communication pathways between clinic staff, insurance pre-authorization staff, surgeons and OR staff based on in-depth understanding of MCP and CP requirements. Provide feedback and monthly reports to surgical practices regarding OR time, utilization and trends. Meet with surgical leaders to present findings and recommend opportunities for improvement. Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program. Provide back-up support for surgical scheduling Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies. Preferred Schedule: M-F Core business hours Position Requirements: Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor\'s Degree Minimum Required Experience: 5 years Why MCW?
