The opportunity: The Director, Actuarial is responsible for planning, directing, and managing product pricing, and other major company efforts to help meet profit and growth objectives for our Group Long Term Disability, Group Short Term Disability, Group Term Life, and Absence blocks of business. Responsibilities include pricing, product development, experience review and analysis, and state regulatory filings. In this role you will also have significant interactions with our carrier partners. How you will contribute: Plan, direct, and manage Group Disability product pricing Evaluate, monitor and report actuarial operating performance, communicating to carrier partners, senior management, management and employees Keep pricing responsive to market trends and actively engage product management to keep products positioned in the market Evaluate and recommend processes in product management to improve quality and efficiency of business Prepare and present to carrier partners on experience results, market trends, new product features, and on other...
