JOB REQUIREMENTS: Director of Human Resources Mandel Group Milwaukee, WI Mandel has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional with a passion for leading strategic initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture. Mandel Group is one of Milwaukee\'s oldest and most active builders and managers of apartment communities in the area. We continue to expand through acquisition of apartment communities and the design and construction of unique, neighborhood-enhancing projects in the Greater Milwaukee area. As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by providing leadership and direction in all areas of human resources management. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve associate relations issues including conflict resolution, harassment investigations, and wage complaints. - Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and compliant handling. - Lead talent acquisition efforts for all levels of positions, including senior team roles. - Oversee the associate employment life cycle from recruitment to offboarding. - Manage health and welfare benefit plans and insurance broker relationships. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee work comp / OSHA inspections. - Administer leaves of absence and accommodation requests in compliance with laws and policies. Education and Professional Requirements: - Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. - Minimum of five years of experience in an HR Manager role or higher. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Advanced knowledge of HR laws and legislation. - Proficiency in MS Office365, Excel, Word, and other HR systems. - Experience in associate development and performance management.
