A 911 Dispatcher works within an emergency communication center/public safety answering point, dispatching fire, law and medical emergencies to responding agencies. JOB DUTIES: Efficiently operate the 911 emergency answering phone system. Create and maintain generated incidents in Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) for all incoming calls answered. Perform all call notifications, maintain highway log, and monitor entrance points and alarm systems. Operate the CAD and radio system to provide prompt dispatching of emergency units.
