The Headlines:
As a Procurement Intern you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns. The internship is a full-time summer position from May 5 - August 8 (Canada interns) and May 28 - August 8 (U.S. interns).
Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.
You will gain valuable experience while working on meaningful projects and tasks that complement the overall team goals. You will gain exposure to working in teams, networking, leading projects, presentations and aiding in enhancing business while developing technical and analytical skills. The assignments provide students with opportunities to develop by building on classroom theory with practical work and to develop and demonstrate their skills. This opportunity will provide real work experience with challenging and meaningful assignments.
This role will be located in Milwaukee, WI and will report directly to a member of the function you will support, while working closely with Procurement Leadership Team and an intern mentor throughout the summer.
The Responsibilities:
Exposure to spend analytics across multiple categories to support supplier rationalization
Facilitation of Requests for Proposals
Category optimization of Sponsorship agreements
Work with experienced procurement professionals in the performance of responsibilities.
Gain exposure to both the domestic and international aspects of Molson Coors supply chain network
Support and process improvement activities related to procurement standard practices
Develop an understanding of Molson Coors business structure, functions and operations, our product offerings.
The Other Qualifications:
You are a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Procurement, Business or equivalent field
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrates the ability to work in teams and effectively problem solve
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Previous relevant internship in an operations setting preferred
Demonstrates leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
