JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a Project Specialist - Engineering to join our firm, with opportunities in multiple client and market types. This position is responsible for the technical development of a project as it pertains to building engineering systems; independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria; uses judgment in assignments that have clear and specified objectives with a limited number of variables; performs layout and modeling of electrical, mechanical and/or structural building systems; observes engineering features in the field and documents existing field conditions; and works under the direction of a Project Manager and Engineer. Unlicensed / May pursue designer certification Works hand-in-hand with the project engineer and/or project manager Understands engineering techniques and procedures in the areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and/or structural systems. Has experience and knowledge in detailing, technical aspects of projects, and building systems Has a history of experience in assembling project document sets Exposed to a variety of responsibilities and scope in the development of project documentation Has a proactive approach to projects and problem solving and can self-direct project work and tasks Assists in on-site observation, actively participates in the Construction Administration phase High degree of knowledge and skill regarding BIM software High degree of familiarity with buildings and layout of building systems The Fine Print Two or four year degree in Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology Typically 2-10 years experience Proficient in Revit preferred Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: ipc.us/t/4825F23ED80B496A
