job summary:
A Quality Technician in the Menomonee Falls, WI area is needed for a multinational power management company. This position entails providing quality support for customers through product evaluation, testing, and communication, while also participating in problem-solving teams and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, requiring analytical skills and technical knowledge.

responsibilities:
Perform technical evaluations and repairs of warranty returns.
Participate in problem-solving teams.
Write post-evaluation customer reports as needed.
Enter return and evaluation data in the VISTA system.
Support follow-up on issues within customers and factories.
Provide same-day responses to internal and external customers with emergency requests.
Provide PIC customer service and administrative support when needed.
Skills:
Training to operate within all lab locations.
Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, factories, and cross-functional teams.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Understanding of inspection techniques and processes.
Experience with mechanical and electrical measurement tools, basic hand and power tools.
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
Education: At least 2-year degree (or equivalent) in a technical field desired.
