Summary

Responsible for managing the recruitment process for all businesses under the In-Place Machining Company umbrella.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Exhibit and enforce a culture where safety is the first priority!

Daily Core Tasks:

  • Work with hiring managers to ensure proper staff headcounts are maintained

  • Work with the HR team and hiring managers to create and maintain job descriptions

  • Work with HR Department to maintain updated wage information to stay competitive

  • Create job advertisements that comply with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Utilize a number of recruiting sources including online postings, trade schools, job-fairs, professionals networks

  • Source resumes, conduct pre-screen phone interviews, and participate in in-person interviews

  • Provide regular feedback on activity of each open position

  • Provide feedback to HR and hiring managers on candidate interview experience

  • Manage communication with applicants including issuance of offer or rejection letters

  • Maintain applicant tracking system to include:

  • Maintaining job openings to include days to fill metrics

  • Links to company website(s)

  • Applicant communication templates

  • Workflows

  • Screener questionaries

  • Applicant status

  • Application data

  • EEOC reporting and other analytics

  • Assist HR team with onboarding activities

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education

Associate Degree in Human Resources Management or a combination of education and experience

Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience. Specifically, this position requires:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to recruitment and selection of employees

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with MS Office products

  • Aptitude for mentoring and coaching employees and front-line supervisors

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of specifications and information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Extensive ability and desire to be a servant leader

  • Extensive ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

  • Extensive ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

  • Extensive ability to troubleshoot and solve problems using critical thinking skills

  • Extensive ability to organize and manage priorities, meet deadlines, and expectations

  • Extensive ability to follow through on projects from conception to completion.
