Milwaukee County Office of the Comptroller Research and Policy Analyst Hourly Range \$27.65 - \$41.47 Salary Range: \$ 57,512 - \$ 86,257 Closing Date: July 2, 2024 or upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions Job Summary: The Research Analyst positions provide independent and nonpartisan research services for the county board and county executive. Research Department staff also serve all County Board policy committees. This position will plays a key role in county-wide policy issues and in the adoption of the annual budget. Research Analysts work closely with other departmental staff to assist in the passage of fiscal and policy issues that are critical to the operation of every functional area. The positions serve as a critical liaison between the Legislative Branch and Administrative staff to help facilitate the efficient day-to-day operation of Milwaukee County government utilizing best practices.
