Job Overview
The Workshop Foreman - Wireline Services is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of wireline equipment and tools. This role ensures the efficient and timely upkeep of critical assets, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the workshop team, including technicians, mechanics, and support staff
Ensure the timely and efficient maintenance, repair, and overhaul of wireline equipment, tools, and components
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of spare parts and consumables
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Provide technical guidance and training to workshop personnel on equipment maintenance and repair procedures
Collaborate with field operations teams to understand equipment performance and identify areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent knowledge of wireline equipment, tools, and components
Proficiency in maintenance and repair procedures
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational and multitasking capabilities
Computer literacy and experience with maintenance management software
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or certification in a relevant field (e.g., mechanics, electronics, or wireline operations)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireline equipment maintenance and repair, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Comprehensive knowledge of wireline equipment, tools, and components, including their operation, maintenance, and repair
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficient in using computer systems and maintenance management software
Valid driver's license or able to obtain one
