Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator RN - Cardiology. In this role, the successful candidate The Research Coordinator (RN) will coordinate all aspects of clinical trials per study protocol, will be responsible for enrolling and retaining patients in all assigned in and out patients trials, responsible for following all FDA/GCP guidelines and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Coordinates all aspects of clinical trials per study requirements. Determines participant study visits and schedules clinic visits as per protocol. Administers study drugs safely and appropriately as per study guidelines.
    • Maintains responsibility for recruiting, enrolling and retaining study participants in assigned trials. Attend various lectures, fairs and other related activities.
    • Manage patients within protocol parameters, to ensure patient safety. Performs data collection and submissions. Responsible for the timely completion of Case Report Forms, clear and concise documentation of source documents to support data. Data entry into various programs supported by Sponsors. Reports all adverse events.
    • Ability to comply with all Food Drug AdministrationGood Clinical Practice guidelines and regulations.
    • Work with Sponsors, medical monitors and other personnel who are instrumental during and upon completions of studies.
    • Responsible for thorough documentation of all study related requirements, anticipate areas of difficulties and obtain data according to the need of each study.
    • Communicates proactively with sponsors, patients, principal investigators and other coordinators. Coordinate monitor visits with principal investigator for initiation.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors in Nursing. Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License. 1-2 years Medical/surgical nursing experience. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $89,404.63 - $132,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
