RBC 2025 Wealth Management Summer Intern - Organizational Change Management in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We have a variety of different corporate functions in our Minneapolis, MN office that support this business. The 2025 program is based in Minneapolis, MN and takes place June 2nd - August 15th. Job Description PURPOSE This internship provides opportunities to undergraduate/graduate students interested in exploring career opportunities in the financial services industry, specifically in organizational change management and program development. Interns will collaborate with the Organizational Change Management team (OCM) within the overarching Field Advancement area of RBC Wealth Management-U.S. (RBC USWM). This team works across the RBC enterprise, with a focus on RBC Private Client Group (PCG) advisor area, and the corporate office. OCM is responsible for the execution of programs and initiatives within the organization, with an emphasis on our field sales force and corporate employees, specifically focusing on the behavioral/human side of changes to increase awareness, ability, and adoption of the change. OCM is part of the Field Advancement area which is comprised of additional teams where further collaboration may be provided as needed: Practice Management and Teams (PM&T) is responsible for helping financial advisor practices maximize their potential by providing coaching and solutions about strategies for growth. Training and Development team supports field employees in completing a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification, and also develops internal training resources used within the organization. All three groups host virtual and live training programs and interns will have the opportunity to participate in preparation, day-of execution and and observation. Interns will collaborate with full-time employees in change projects, plan preparation, and a variety of leadership opportunities with key partners and colleagues at every level of the organization. Interns will participate in a group intern Capstone project for the chance to present their personalized business case idea/solution to senior leaders. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES Program and Project Support Provide support and verification functions across teams and key projects that may include the following responsibilities. Provide support and shadow Change Consultants with projects, taking on delegated roles within meetings. Review and design new resources and collateral to help expand on the department branding and build resources that can be leveraged with internal and external partners. Participate and lead weekly update meetings with key partners - communications, support teams, technology, and product areas. Provide analytical insight and measurement for programs. Provide insight and perspective on internal efficiencies. JOB SPECIFICATIONSAND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications Undergraduate student (completed sophomore level or higher) in a related major or Graduate student with a declared major in business or a related field. (Graduation dates between 2025 - May 2026) Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to be a team player as well as work independently. Proficiencies with written and verbal communication skills Suggested Qualifications Strategic thinking Autonomy and leadership Behavioral science experience Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities. Curiosity and willingness to learn KEY RELATIONSHIPS This role is expected to: Build constructive and positive relationships with RBC employees and fellow interns. Interact with all levels of field and corpor te leadership, as well as financial advisors and their teams. Engage with other home office roles that together support revenue generation, cost containment and risk reduction.
