Third Shift Maintenance Technician - Leading Manufacturer in Bloomington, MN Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy troubleshooting complex machinery? Are you a team player with a strong work ethic?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Bloomington, MN facility. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently, maximizing production and quality.

What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Manage spare parts inventory
Perform scheduled and predictive maintenance, as well as emergency repairs
Collaborate with production supervisors to modify and improve equipment
Participate in special projects as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Uphold all safety regulations
Qualifications:
2-year technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
3 years of prior experience in a technical maintenance role in a manufacturing setting
Previous experience working with PLCs and VFDs (Allen Bradley communication preferred)
Work Environment:
Manufacturing floor
Requires use of safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and ear plugs
Third shift hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9:30 pm - 5:30 am
This is an hourly position with overtime opportunities

Responsibilities
Analyzes & make repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Maintain inventory of spare parts for area of focus
Maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments
Review production schedule and make equipment changes as needed
Troubleshoot and test equipment to check operations
Perform scheduled maintenance/predictive maintenance & emergency repairs, as needed
Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment
Work with Production Supervisors to modify/change
Report findings to supervisor
Work on miscellaneous facility improvement projects, as needed
Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
Ability to work overtime
Attendance
Ability to work at the Bloomington facility
Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
