Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
Our established professional services client based out of Downtown Minneapolis is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their established firm. In this exciting opportunity, you will handle a variety of tasks, including managing client charges, assisting with accounts payable invoices, and setting up vendor accounts. You'll also generate financial reports, handle daily bank deposits, and respond to various accounting inquiries.
An ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar with 1+ year of experience. Recent graduates with internship experience are highly encouraged to apply for consideration!
This position is direct hire (permanent) and is fully onsite in Minneapolis, MN. Pre-tax transportation passes or pre-tax parking options are available for this opportunity.
This exciting role offers beginning pay of $50-57k, depending on qualifications. A discretionary bonus is also offered for this position. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes
• Experience with handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability in billing procedures
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Experience in invoice processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with check deposit procedures
• Experience with check runs and check processing
• Ability to enter vendor invoices accurately
• Experience with processing payable invoices
• Must have a degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
