IonE has an immediate opening for a casual (<14hrs/wk) program assistant position within our Leadership & Education team to support our work to enhance the impact of our faculty, staff and community leader Affiliates. IonE's Affiliate Program connects changemakers and professionals of all career stages, fostering collaborative work that has a positive impact in the world. The goal of the Affiliate program is to equip leaders with the skills, connections, and resources needed to meet the world's current and emergent challenges. We are looking for a team member to assist the Affiliate Impact Team in implementing these activities and strategies. Position Duties and Responsibilities 70% - Program Administration Support updating affiliate resources, materials, and communications. Provide graphic design support for affiliate program documentation. Research and create a resource library for affiliates. Support IonE's affiliate evaluation processes. Support efforts to spotlight IonE affiliates. 20% - Event Support Support the planning, marketing and day-of organization of affiliate trainings and events throughout the year. 10% - General/other duties as assigned Participate in team meetings & engage with the IonE staff, student, and affiliate community. Routine information management - scheduling, archiving content. Other duties and projects as assigned. Working Conditions On average, 10-14 hrs/wk. Flexible hours between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday; 2-3 hour block scheduling preferred. The role will often be performed in-person at IonE offices on the Saint Paul campus, with opportunities for remote work. Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent or GED Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Drive Graphic design and communication skills Interest in event coordination for online, in person, and hybrid settings An interest in environmental justice and sustainability Reliable; can produce results with attention to detail and minimal direction Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and team work skills Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in your work and workplace. Preferred Qualifications Experience with environmental justice and anti-racist initiatives Team player, interested in collaborative work About the Department Who are we?
