The position will be 0.6 clinical full time equivalent (FTE), 0.4 research focused FTE. The candidate is expected to apply for research grants, write scientific papers, and establish collaborations to expand knowledge and skills. Clinical practice will include outpatient clinics in the state of the art M Health Clinics and Surgery Center, inpatient consult service at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, with the possibility of engagement in renal replacement therapy care at dialysis units in the Twin Cities. The Division is comprised 14 general nephrologists, and 4 transplant nephrologists, many of whom are world-renown clinicians and researchers. Qualifications Required Qualifications: (Must be documented on all application materials) Essential requirements include an M.D. or international equivalent and board certification (or eligibility based on successful completion of General Nephrology fellowship program) in Nephrology.
