Are you a car person? Do you have sandblasting skills? We need you! We're seeking an auto body sandblaster for a busy shop in the Minneapolis area. This auto body sandblaster position is on the first shift and is responsible for stripping the surface of parts and preparing them for the paint shop. Location: Minneapolis, MN Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday Wage: $20 - $24/hr. Benefits of the auto body sandblaster: Medical insurance Long and short-term disability insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Vision coverage Critical illness insurance Room for advancement Long-term and permanent employment Excellent benefits after the probationary period 401K Match Profit sharing Paid holidays Paid vacation Duties of the auto body sandblaster: Sandblast strips a surface of dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, and prepare it for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment Use abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt Shovel or pour sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and maintain an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper Use of masking film, tape, and rubber Lift, carry, and set up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets Prepare parts for the paint shop, steam cleaning motors, and chassis, and other general labor duties Requirements of the auto body sandblaster: Ability to read blueprints. Previous welding experience. Mechanic experience. Ability to lift up to 100LBS. Additional information Apply today!
