Facilitate daily programming and activities for the children of mothers participating in Wayside s Family Program. Children range in age from 6 months 11 years. 2. Plan and lead children activities for children during group times in compliance with DHS standards and developmental expectations 3. Perform general group room set-up and clean up daily. 4. Ensure documentation of all interactions and activities with children and family. 5. Assist Family Services team in the identifying children's developmental needs and assisting mothers in meeting children's needs. 6. Provide mentoring and role modeling of effective and appropriate parenting skills. 7. Ensuring services are provided in a trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, and client-centered manner. 8. Maintain on-going communication with counselor and family services team 9. Role model behavior that is consistent with and supportive of people in recovery from substance use disorder. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of Wayside programs, reliable attendance, mediation and/or conflict resolution, respectful assertiveness and open communication. Demonstrate respect and appreciation for diverse cultures and lifestyles. Additional Duties: 1. Follow all licensing requirements, policy and procedures, and 245G guidelines; including, but not limited to, maintaining client confidentiality and mandated reporting. 2. Participate in in-services, workshops and other continuing education relative to quality client care. 3. Participate in on-site supervision and staff meetings. 4. Represent Wayside Family Treatment in the community in a positive and constructive manner. 5. Keep all mandatory 245G trainings up-to-date for self 6. Perform additional duties as assigned. COMPENSATION: $18.00/hour LOCATION: Family Treatment Center 2120 Clinton Ave S.
