Yinghua Academy Chinese Immersion Classroom Teacher (middle) (multiple openings) in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Educate and nurture students in a middle school classroom in a Chinese immersion environment following Yinghua Academy s mission, core values, and principles. Conduct classroom instructions in Mandarin Chinese. Follow curriculum pacing charts and lesson plans; deliver direct instruction to students and develops students fullest acquisition of knowledge, skills, and appreciation for all core subjects. Prepare and regularly submit curriculum pacing and lesson plans. Conduct student assessments in various forms. Works collaboratively with Director of Chinese Instruction and middle school level team members to plan lessons and share academic resources. Attend middle school-level academic events as scheduled. Communicate with students the expectations for academic performance, classroom behavior, and personal management. Maintain effective communication with parents in English in a timely fashion; keep classroom webpage up-to-date.
