As the COMPASS Data and Assessment Literacy Specialist in the COMPASS division, you will provide leadership in developing and implementing professional development and outreach activities around data and assessment literacy for district and school leaders. Duties will include:

  • Develop training resources and tools for COMPASS staff, district and school leaders, and educators in order to build a system and structure for district-wide data and assessment literacy that supports the improvement of student outcomes;

  • Establish relationships with district and school leaders in order to identify needs for data and assessment literacy from a systems perspective;

  • Provide training and technical support to district and school leadership on instituting data and assessment literacy practices that lead to sustainable systems and structures.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of professional experience in a PreK-12 School System

OR

A bachelor's degree and 4 years of professional experience in a PreK-12 School System

Experience must include leading educators in data analysis and data-based decision making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving in a district data or assessment leadership role

  • Formal school or district leadership

  • Experience designing and delivering professional development
