Key Responsibilities Network with senior leaders of external companies with the goal of establishing new business. Develop a pipeline of prospective opportunities, holding meetings, seminars/webinars, outbound phone calls, emails, and social media reach to source partnership opportunities. Manage sales process through consistent follow up and communication, maintaining accurate notes, tracking pipeline progress and creating reports as required. Make business development on-site presentations to prospective partners to create new accounts, negotiate and close deals. Manage all aspects of business-to-business sales and business development within this sector including managing progression through the sales cycle. Lead and coach internal partners to move opportunities forward. Ensure team is staging the sales experience consistently and effectively. Drive front-end activity metrics and leading indicators. Ensure strong execution and management of sales process and tracking in CRM system. Build a comprehensive understanding of partners' expectations and positioning of benefits. Develop and enhance the value proposition through client/prospect feedback, engagement strategies and delivery of the client experience. Prepare and train advisors for implementation. Partner with decision makers and stakeholders to close complex gaps, influence policy, and move deals forward. Required Qualifications 7-10 years of B2B sales work experience with a proven track record of success. Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) Strong computer skills and experienced with managing data, report creation, prospecting development, etc. Financial services industry experience: preferably within sales or account management. Assertive, competitive, self-starter, goal-oriented and results-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit. Highly self-motivated, creative, and decisive. Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients' needs and issues. Ability to travel to Partner locations. Exceptional customer service, written and oral communication skills. Relationship development & management skills. Experience developing and managing implementation plans. Preferred Qualifications Proven track record selling to HR and Member Benefits professionals. Comfortable presenting to executives, board members, and high-level decision makers and/or large groups. Ability and experience articulating complex and in-depth concepts.
