Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Assemble mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of production for various housings, control panels, and automation controls. You will need to read basic prints to assemble the parts, including using drills, tweezers, crimpers, screwdrivers, and other basic hand tools.

Hard Skills

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures

  • Utilize hand-held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun

  • Perform soldering to join metal items

  • Maintain inventory of products in workstations

  • Perform quality work checks

  • Identify and document product defects

  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products

  • Adhere to quality standards and established safety procedures

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Clean, well-lit, well-organized environment. It is a smaller environment, not very loud, and almost has an R&D type feel to it. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
