Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Integrated Construction Coordinator I to join our Solar Group in either our Minneapolis Headquarters or remote. This role will partner and support our team to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field and design coordination issues with project team members and participants. You will be joining a rapidly growing Solar VDC Integration team that has grown from 2 to 8 team members in the past 2 years. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in a consistently changing environment. Demonstrating the ability to be flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality will be vital for your success. Strong planning and organization skills are critical for completing your tasks. Ideal candidate can proficiently utilize Civil3D, perform general CAD operations, and has a passion for developing clear analysis drawings for project teams. An added plus but not required is beginner Revit experience, passion for drones / scanning technologies, and an interest in learning about CAD integration with 4D schedule modeling, Candidate can be entry level coming in as a new graduate from a college or university, or have 1-4 years of experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Planning, implementing, and coordinating Virtual Design and Construction processes through appropriate technology platforms Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D to perform general CAD layouts, CAD support and general analysis of projects as requested by teams using CAD software. Including, but not limited to Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: Flood analysis, existing conditions analysis, cost estimation using technology to support, phase planning, site analysis, design review support, drawing visualization and coordination, and site utilization planning. Supporting Inverter Subgrade integration support and workflows Provide point of contact for team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction for projects Interest in learning new skills in Revit, have a passion for drone utilization, and CAD integration with 4D schedule implementation is a plus but not required Document work process as it relates to improving and/or changing current company process standards As an integrated construction team member, you should be an active participant in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice - Knowledge sharing You may need to complete daily work planning REQUIREMENTS Autodesk AutoCAD Autodesk Civil 3D 0-4 years related experience Survey data knowledge and/or experience is preferred Completion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training Displaying attention to detail to organize and run multiple project tasks Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Demonstrate ability to work in Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level Exhibit a positive professional attitude, and strong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively Current driver's license Autodesk Revit experience is a plus but not required CAD integration with 4D modeling is a plus but not required Understanding of GIS is a plus but not required Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent field Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
