The Columbia Threadneedle Investments intern program is designed to provide students with first-hand investment management experience. You will support portfolio management and investment research, contributing directly to the investment process. You will work with an experienced team of portfolio managers and/or analysts who will provide mentorship and opportunities for shadowing. Examples if projects may include, but not limited to: Contribute to the maintenance and enchantments of the company cloud/data lake catalog Collaborate in building out Sharepoint sites Create Gen AI prompts Create dashboard reporting, using PowerBI Create documentation of end to end processes Assist on projects by writing test scripts and running testing Create MI on Investment cloud portal usage Assist our Aladdin support team (BlackRock Aladdin system is used inhouse as our: Order management, Trading, Inv Risk, Inv Book of record system) Required Qualifications Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2026 Preferred Qualifications Proven organization skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Python and PowerBI Project management skills Mathematical aptitude Creative, curious, and strives to progress an innovative and growth mindset.
