This position is temporary and will be for one year. 80% - Conduct laboratory experiments focused on Earth surface processes using flumes and other mechanisms 20% - Write manuscripts and disseminate research findings at conferences Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with some science courses and experience in a laboratory setting. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's in engineering or related field. Experience with laboratory experiments and data analysis. About the Department The St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is an interdisciplinary fluid mechanics research lab and educational facility under the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. We are engineers and scientists who collaborate across disciplines to solve fluids-related problems in the Earth-surface environment.
