Honeywell Lead Engineering Technician II - Environmental Test in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Working on a team consisting of Environmental test Engineers and Technicians performing a wide array of environmental and mechanical testing on various commercial and military Aerospace products. Working directly with internal and external customers, providing support in writing test procedures and reports, conducting environmental and mechanical testing to internal procedures, external customer specifications, and industry standards, documenting test setups and data, and assisting in troubleshooting of test setups and product failures.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
MUST HAVE'S
Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology, Vocational Certificate in Electronics or Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or High School Diploma or GED with previous Military training
Minimum of 5 years Technician experience in Environmental and/or Mechanical test or related field
Experience in operating environmental chambers such as temperature, altitude, and humidity, and mechanical test equipment such as dynamic shaker systems
Ability to follow detailed qualification test procedures and document test data
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to lead qualification test efforts
Ability to analyze test results and communicate this information and recommendations back to stakeholders
Ability to move work and test equipment to and from work areas
WE VALUE
Previous experience working in an Environmental test lab
Experience with test methods and requirements of DO-160 and MIL-STD 810
Experience programming and operating environmental test chambers and vibration controller systems
